goods. When air cargo enters the country, the documents related to the goods also arrive randomly, and the means of transport and the goods are under customs supervision. After the goods are unloaded, the goods are stored in the supervision warehouse of the airline or airport, and the import cargo manifest is entered. The master waybill number, consignee, departure station, destination station, number of pieces, weight, cargo name, flight number and other information on the manifest are transmitted to the customs through a computer for retention for customs declaration. At the same time, the pick-up order and delivery notice are sent according to the consignee address on the waybill.
③Tallying and warehousing. Tally: Check the number of each shipment one by one, check the damage of the goods again, and if there are any problems that were not found when receiving the goods, you can make a negotiation with the civil aviation; store and warehouse according to large goods, small goods, heavy goods, light goods, single shipment goods, mixed goods, dangerous goods, valuable goods, frozen goods, refrigerated goods, etc.; register the storage area code of each shipment and enter it into the computer. Warehousing: Pay attention to rain and moisture protection; prevent heavy pressure; prevent deformation; prevent deterioration; prevent exposure to the sun; set up an independent warehouse for dangerous goods.
④ Order handling and arrival notice. Order handling: centralized consignment, split the order under the general waybill; classify the order, number; compile various documents. Arrival notice: notify the owner of the arrival of the goods as early as possible, as soon as possible, and as properly as possible. Handling of the original waybill: The computer will make a “Customs Supervision Import Goods Warehouse List” in five copies, one for commodity inspection, one for health inspection, one for animal inspection, and two for customs.
⑤ Make a document and declare. The cargo owner can handle the document preparation, customs declaration and transportation by himself, or he can entrust the freight forwarding company to handle it. The import customs declaration is roughly divided into four main links: preliminary review, document review, taxation, and inspection and release. The customs declaration period for imported goods is: within 14 days from the date of entry of the means of transport. If the customs declaration exceeds this period, the customs shall collect a late declaration fee, and the collection standard is 0.5% of the landed price of the goods.
⑥ Charges and shipment. The freight forwarding company warehouse generally collects the fees before releasing the goods. The charges include: freight to be paid and advance commissions; documents and customs declaration fees; storage fees; loading and unloading, forklift fees, airline arrival storage fees; customs pre-entry, animal and plant inspection, health inspection, inspection and other collection and payment fees; customs duties and advance commissions.
⑦ Delivery and transshipment. The door-to-door delivery business mainly refers to the direct delivery of goods to the cargo owner after import customs clearance, and the means of transportation is generally a car. Transshipment business mainly refers to freight forwarding companies transshipping imported goods after customs clearance to the mainland, and the main modes of transportation are airplanes, cars, trains, water transport, and postal services.
