Video production standards and requirements:
Videos must comply with basic standards, and the content of the video must not violate relevant laws and regulations of the film and television industry. Information that violates the Advertising Law must not appear in the video, and the overall short video content must conform to socialist values. In addition, Alibaba International Station has the following basic requirements for video production.
(1) The picture is stable, without shaking or black edges. You can use auxiliary equipment such as a gimbal and a tripod to ensure a stable picture to enhance the buyer’s viewing experience.
(2) No title, no watermark, and no merchant LOGO (logo). Directly display the product itself, and use editing software without title, watermark, or merchant LOGO for post-processing. At the same time, avoid merchants making their own title.
(3) No external domain URLs or private contact information. Do not add personal contact information (including personal email, phone, WeChat, etc.) anywhere in the video. At the same time, avoid promoting external domain URL links. Only by communicating with buyers through Alibaba’s official platform can the rights and interests of both parties be better protected.
(4) The picture is clear, the light source is sufficient, and there is no screen flicker. The minimum video screen requirements are 720P, 4:3/16:9 frame, generally no more than 100MB, 20MB~30MB is recommended; the shooting environment must be well-lit and the focus must be accurate. The product must be fully displayed in the picture, and high-quality light sources or shooting equipment must be used with a shutter speed of less than 1/50s (0.02s).
(5) Avoid videos that simply switch between pictures. Videos that switch between pictures cannot pass Alibaba’s high-quality video review. Make full use of the characteristics of short videos to display product selling points in multiple dimensions.
(6) Use English subtitles to explain selling points. Text can express selling points that are not easy to show, and guide buyers to buy products. Because you are facing foreign customers, using English subtitles is the best choice.
