Here, we take Alibaba International Station as an example to introduce how to analyze and respond to a specific inquiry.

1. Inquiry Assignment

Check the inquiry you want to assign, click “Assign to”, select the sub-account, and the inquiry can be assigned to the designated salesperson.

2. Inquiry View

Find the inquiry you want to view, click “View Details”, and you can see the specific content of the inquiry. You can view email messages in the message bar on the left, and click Customer on the right to view the customer’s name, company name, business type, sales platform, registration time, company website, email and other information. If “My Customer” is displayed below the customer’s avatar, it means that you already have an old customer; if “Add as Customer” is displayed below the customer’s avatar, you can add a stranger as a new customer. Click “Customer Behavior Data” to view the customer’s in-store product activities. Click “Follow-up Management” to view the customer’s stage, such as inquiry customers, sample ordering customers, paying customers, and re-purchasing customers.

3. Inquiry Reply

After clicking on the inquiry you want to view, click the text box below the message bar on the left, enter the message content, and click the “Send” button on the lower right to complete the reply to the inquiry. When replying to an inquiry, if you click the “Quote Now” button, a specific quotation item will pop up on the right. The seller first needs to select the specific transaction product (select “Import Released Products” or “Add More Products & Quotes”), then select the “Trade Terms and Attachments” used in the quotation, fill in the “Quotation Validity Period”, upload the quotation sheet and other attachments, and finally submit the quotation.
