Amazon has the most advanced e-commerce operation system and logistics and warehousing operation system in the world. Today, the world-class Amazon logistics operation system can also be used by sellers. This service is called “Amazon Logistics”, or what we call FBA. FBA is a logistics and distribution service provided by Amazon. Specifically, sellers send the goods they sell on Amazon directly to Amazon’s local market warehouse. After the customer places an order, the Amazon system automatically completes the subsequent delivery. Amazon FBA is a special service of Amazon’s e-commerce operation and an important reason why the Amazon platform is the most competitive in the world.

The operation process of FBA includes the following four steps.

(1) Send the goods to Amazon. The first step of the Amazon FBA operation process requires the seller to operate it himself, that is, to send the goods from his own warehouse to the Amazon warehouse, and the operations such as product labeling also need to be completed by the seller. This is the only step in the entire Amazon FBA operation process that requires the seller to operate it himself.

(2) Amazon warehouses goods. After the FBA goods arrive at the Amazon warehouse destination, the seller needs to register the goods on Amazon and store them in the Amazon warehouse for a short period of time.

(3) Amazon picks and packs. When a new order is placed for a seller’s product, Amazon will sort out the seller’s products from inventory based on the seller’s order information, package them, and wait for them to be shipped.

(4) Amazon delivers the product. After the order is placed, Amazon is responsible for delivering the product from the FBA warehouse. If the buyer needs to return or exchange the product, Amazon FBA is also responsible for that.
