Store promotion activities mainly include store discounts, limited-time and limited-quantity discounts, store coupons and store-wide discounts.

(I) Store discounts

Store discounts are the “deduct xx yuan for purchases over xx yuan” activities that we often see. The purpose of setting up “store discounts” is to increase the average customer spending. To set up a discount activity, you need to complete the basic information, event products and promotion rules. Among them, the activity type can choose “store-wide discounts” and “product discounts”. Store coupons are similar to full discounts, both of which are aimed at increasing the store’s customer unit price. If some products are not grouped, the platform automatically groups them together. When the products in this event conflict with the products in the “store limited time and limited quantity discount” event, the “store limited time and limited quantity discount” event products should be displayed first.

AliExpress storewide discounts are usually set according to the traffic cycle, and the event ends a few hours after the peak traffic peak ends, in order to achieve the effect of hunger marketing and stimulate buyers to place orders. Before conducting a storewide discount on AliExpress, you must reasonably use and arrange the number of activities, time and various resources, such as setting the activity cycle to 2~7 days, so that it is easy to modify and add new products.
