1. About the delivery period
The default delivery time is two days. This delivery time can be set in the background. If it exceeds the set delivery time, it will affect the timely delivery rate. At the same time, the order must be confirmed to Amazon within 30 days of the order date. Otherwise, Amazon will automatically cancel the order, and the seller will not receive payment even if the order has been delivered. One week before the 30th day expiration date, sellers can see a warning in “Manage Orders” that says “Please confirm shipment before XXXX to avoid order cancellation”, and then receive an email notification.
2. About Returns
The following are some common questions and solutions about returns:
(1) What if the buyer cancels the order before the goods are shipped (or “Confirm Shipment” is not clicked)?
Solution: Contact the buyer and ask the specific reason why the buyer wants to return the goods. If the buyer clearly requests a return, the return will generally be processed.
(2) What if the buyer only requests to cancel the order by email but does not cancel the order?
Solution: Contact the buyer and ask the buyer why the buyer wants to cancel the order. If the buyer insists on canceling the order or does not respond and has applied to cancel the order, click the “Cancel Order” button on the order processing interface and select the buyer as the reason for cancellation. Just cancel it, which will not affect the seller’s performance.
(3) If you have clicked to confirm shipment, but the product has not been shipped, and the buyer has requested a return, what should you do?
How to deal with it: Contact the buyer and ask the specific reason why he wants to return the product. If the buyer is willing to check the product first, you can send the product to the buyer first (but the product may still be returned in the end). If the buyer insists on returning the product, refund the buyer directly in the order management interface.
(4) If you have clicked to confirm shipment, the product has been shipped, and the buyer has requested a return, what should you do?
How to deal with it: Contact the buyer and ask the specific reason why he wants to return the product. If the buyer insists on returning the product, let the buyer refuse to accept the product, and then return the product to the buyer in the order management interface. Generally, the refund will be made after the product is shipped back to the country, but in order to avoid bad reviews and Amazon transaction guarantee claims, it is recommended to refund as soon as possible. It usually takes 3 to 5 working days to refund the customer after the return, and the final time is subject to Amazon’s transfer time.
