As an e-commerce platform with buyers and sellers at its core, Allegro has been committed to improving the transaction experience and service quality. Recently, Allegro announced that it will adjust the assessment of buyer reviews and fast delivery percentage to more accurately reflect the sales quality of merchants. The following are the detailed changes to these two important assessment indicators.

1. Recommendations from buyers.

Allegro will adjust the calculation method of buyer recommendations to make it more accurate. Now, the calculation method of buyer recommendations is the same as buyer satisfaction (star rating). Specifically, Allegro will calculate other reviews from the same buyer 7 days after the last review in the sales quality section and buyer recommendation percentage.

For example: If a buyer purchases a merchant’s product on July 1 and chooses to recommend (thumbs up), then this review will be counted in the buyer’s recommendation percentage. But if the buyer buys the same merchant’s product again on July 4 and gives a recommendation review on the same day, Allegro will not count this review in the buyer’s recommendation percentage because the 7-day condition is not met from the last review. Only when the buyer purchases again and gives a recommendation review 7 days later, this review will be included in the assessment.

2. Percentage of orders with fast delivery.

Allegro’s definition of fast delivery will be more specific. The percentage of fast delivery will vary depending on the country of shipment and the country of receipt. Merchants need to deliver the products to the buyer within a reasonable time to get the corresponding extra points.

For example: for orders shipped from Poland to Italy, merchants must complete delivery within 4 days at the latest to meet the fast delivery requirements. For orders between Poland, merchants complete delivery the day after the order is placed, which also meets the requirements.

Merchants can get up to 80 points, and merchants will get 2 points for every 1% increase in the percentage of fast delivery orders. Merchants will get the highest score if more than 40% of the orders are fast delivery. The specific scores are as follows:

Above 40%: Excellent

20%-39%: Good

1%-19%: Moderate

0%: Needs improvement

For example, if 30% of a merchant’s orders meet the fast delivery requirements, the merchant will receive 60 points and a good score.

How can I view the percentage of orders with fast delivery?

Merchants can download reports in the Sales Quality section to view detailed data such as the percentage of fast delivery of orders.

These adjustments are designed to more accurately evaluate merchants’ sales performance, while also providing merchants with a more challenging and rewarding sales environment. It is necessary for merchants to keep abreast of these changes, adjust their business strategies, and improve service quality to better meet buyer needs and remain competitive on the Allegro platform.
