There are many rules on the Ebay platform, some are written and clear, and some are not written and rely on your own exploration or asking. How much you know depends on how much you ask. Of course, the more you know, the better. Here are some knowledge to share with you.

Account limit. To increase the account limit, you can refer to the sales limit self-check in the buyer center on ebay.cn, but don’t panic if one or two items fail occasionally. You can write a letter to the credit department and maybe it will be raised. Because in addition to the items in the credit self-check, there are other review items, but they are not clearly displayed. Maybe you can write a letter and ask the customer service there to review it. Even if the form is not fully passed, it can be raised.

Cancel the order. Sometimes, the buyer asks you to cancel the order, but you find that the order cannot be canceled. There may be several situations:

1. More than 30 days have passed. When the user writes, the time limit for opening CT has exceeded (within 30 days after the buyer takes the order);

2. The item is forcibly removed from eBay;

3. Other disputes have been opened on eBay, such as INR/return/UPI;

4. The seller directly operates the refund on the original transaction number, and CT cannot be opened on eBay later;

5. For the cancellation order that has not received the payment, it shows ‘Refund before xx, wait for the buyer to confirm receipt of the refund xxx’. This is just a unified prompt of the system. The cancellation request will be automatically closed 10 days after it is opened.

Transaction fee. If the buyer receives the goods and the buyer is fully refunded, will the transaction fee be refunded? In some cases, the transaction fee will be refunded after the buyer receives the goods. If you have negotiated a partial refund with the buyer, you can try to contact the buyer to open a return for the buyer’s reasons, and then refund the money, and ask the buyer to help you actively close the return. Your account will not be affected. If the refund exceeds 80%, the transaction fee will be refunded.

If it is a full refund, whether it is the buyer’s or the seller’s reasons, as long as eBay does not intervene, the transaction fee will be refunded for a full refund. If it is a return, we will refund the transaction fee after receiving the goods.

Sometimes you will find that the product that you have removed from the shelves or deleted by the platform is deleted by the platform after a period of time. This is because the previous records, in addition to the online status, may also have this listing in the unsold status of the removed shelves. If you only end the online product, there is still this in the unsold record, which can also be detected. After the product is removed from the shelves, you can select in unsold and delete it through the Delete Action. You can replace the picture with a non-infringing one before removing it from the shelves. If the title is infringing, change the title so that the infringing listing does not exist at all. After the update is successful, remove it from the shelves and delete it in the background.

Sometimes eBay platform handles disputes or some orders abnormally. At this time, you can contact customer service to understand the specific situation, solve your doubts and better understand the rules, so as to better protect your account.
