For Chinese sellers, there are two main ways to register a seller account on Amazon: self-registration and global store opening.
Self-registration
Self-registration is the traditional way to register an Amazon seller account directly through the Amazon registration webpage. At present, both Chinese individuals and corporate identities can register and open stores on Amazon. Taking the North American site as an example, the following information is required to register and open a store on Amazon.
· Clean computer network and mobile phone number (no Amazon account has been registered).
· Company business license.
· Visa or Master credit card (credit card that has not been bound to other seller accounts).
· Overseas bank collection account (for example, third-party payment companies like Skyee).
· Front and back of the legal person’s ID card (need to be prepared in advance).
· List of public accounts for the past three months (with detailed company address).
· Water, electricity, gas or communication bills for the company or legal person for the past three months.
· 5 different product pictures sold by Amazon are required.
·Apply for company attributes: factory, brand, trader. Factories need to provide 3-5 factory photos, brand owners need to provide brand registration certificates, and factories and traders need to provide supporting certificates of transactions between the products and other companies in the past three months.
·Apply for company name, contact person, phone number (the phone number must be reachable), registered email address, and provide links to similar products if you need to sell products on the US site.
