Almost every common Internet tool and service has a certain network marketing foundation, such as Weibo, QQ, search engines, etc., and each tool will produce one or more network marketing effects. For example, Xiaomi provides customers with customer service, product information release, product experience research, etc. through its official Weibo. Figure 1-2 shows the network marketing function and the network marketing tool system required to realize its function.

Common network promotion methods

(I) Network platform marketing

Building a marketing-oriented corporate official website and a third-party e-commerce platform can realize its network marketing function, and through the operation, maintenance, promotion and management of the network platform, the network platform can play its due function.

(II) Search Engine Marketing

Search engine marketing is when users use search engines to retrieve information, information is displayed in the search results to attract users’ attention, and users are attracted to click on the links in the search results to enter the website (micro website) to obtain more detailed information, thereby achieving website (micro website) promotion and product promotion

(III) Social Media Marketing

Social media marketing, also known as social marketing, is a way of using social networks, such as Weibo, WeChat, online communities, blogs, encyclopedias, Q&A or other Internet collaborative platform media to conduct marketing, public relations management and customer development, service and maintenance

(IV) Online Advertising Marketing

Enterprises use online advertising platforms, use advertising banners, text link keywords, and multimedia on websites to publish or release advertisements on the Internet, and transmit them to Internet users through the Internet.

(V) Online Video Marketing

Enterprises put various video clips on the Internet in various forms to achieve certain publicity purposes.

(VI) Soft Article Marketing

Soft articles are “text advertisements” written by the marketing planners of enterprises or the copywriters of advertising companies. Compared with hard advertisements, soft articles perfectly combine the promotional content and the article content, so that users can understand what the planner wants to promote when reading the article. (VIII) Viral Marketing

Viral marketing refers to the use of users’ social interpersonal networks to spread and diffuse information like a virus, and use rapid replication to spread it to thousands or millions of people.
