SF Express was established in Shunde, Guangdong on March 26, 1993. It is a Hong Kong-funded express delivery company that mainly operates international and domestic express delivery services. SF Express continues to meet market demand and has established a huge business organization and service network for information collection, market development, logistics distribution, express delivery collection and delivery in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Currently, it has opened express delivery services in the United States, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia and other countries.

1. Rate Standard

The chargeable weight of SF Express is the larger of the volumetric weight and the actual weight. According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), volumetric weight = length (cm) x width (cm) x height (cm) / 6000; express shipments within 20kg are measured in 0.5kg units, and if less than 0.5kg, the decimal place is rounded up to the next 0.5kg for calculation; express shipments over 20kg are measured in 1kg units, and if less than 0.5kg, the decimal place is rounded up to the next 1kg for calculation. The above freight does not include remote area surcharges, other special handling fees, and any government taxes.

SF Express currently waives fuel surcharges, but SF Express reserves the right to levy fuel surcharges without further notice.

2. Time Limit

SF Express’s international express delivery time is generally: 3~6 days for Australia and the United States; 3~5 days for Vietnam and Thailand; 2~4 days for Singapore and Japan; 1~5 days for Malaysia and South Korea. Please note that: ① The time limit standard days refer to working days, excluding weekends and holidays; ② The above delivery time and delivery service time refer to the local time of the destination country; ③ The time limit standard does not include the extension of the time limit caused by uncontrollable factors such as customs detention and customs inspection; ④ For express shipments involving formal customs declaration or more than 100kg, the time limit needs to be extended by 2 days due to additional operations.

3. Volume and Weight Limit

(1) Volume limit of a single express shipment: 200cmx80cmx70cm.

(2) Weight limit of a single express shipment: no more than 70kg.

(3) Single express value limit: For express shipments from the mainland to the United States, if the account is settled monthly, the declared value cannot exceed US$2,500, and for cash customers it cannot exceed US$250; for Australia, the declared value cannot exceed AUD1,000.

4. Advantages and Disadvantages

SF Express’s advantages are mainly reflected in its own service network with unified service standards, stable service quality, high safety performance, etc., which can maximize customer interests; advanced IT system support management, and can provide comprehensive package tracking services. SF Express’s disadvantages are mainly that there are too few national routes opened, its business types are wide, but the number of countries that can be delivered is small, so it is slightly inferior in terms of professionalism in international express delivery.
