2. Analysis of Alibaba International Station Platform Operation

Alibaba International Station is divided into 4 basic modules: product module, promotion module, transaction module, and data support module.

The product module mainly includes product release and product management. Product release is the most basic function of B2B cross-border e-commerce platform. Products are released by sellers on the platform of the international station and can be searched and browsed by foreign buyers.

The promotion module includes product ranking and foreign trade through train (P4P). The ranking system allows customers to search for the products they need faster and more accurately. The rules for the fees that sellers need to pay for each click by customers are as follows:

Fee = (next customer’s bid x next customer’s promotion score) / own promotion score + 0.1 yuan

The transaction module includes inquiry and RFO procurement direct access. Inquiry refers to the business behavior of buyers exploring the possibility of trading the product with potential suppliers. RFO direct procurement means that buyers publish product requirements on the platform, and suppliers make quotations and negotiations.

The data support module refers to the data manager. It provides data such as “Diagnostic Center”, “Know Yourself”, “Know Buyers”, “Know Market”, “Topics”, etc. to help suppliers analyze stores, products, transaction conditions and market demand.
