1. Overseas warehouse model (FBO)
The overseas warehouse is FBO, and OZON executes the delivery order. At present, cross-border stores have not opened overseas warehouses, so cross-border stores can only choose their own delivery model. Any warehouses and overseas warehouses in Russia are temporarily not open to overseas merchants, but only to Russian merchants, but they have to pay a 20% storage fee.
Under the overseas warehouse model, local stores including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia can apply. Merchants need to transport the goods to the Ozon warehouse in advance, and then equip the delivery method. When the user places an order, the OZON platform will complete the packaging stickers by itself and deliver the product to the user.
If there is a return, the product will be returned directly to the Ozon warehouse.
2. Self-delivery mode (FBS)
The self-delivery mode is FBS, which can be regarded as the merchant executing the delivery order by himself. In this case, the OZON platform brings three logistics solutions, namely online logistics, integrated logistics and non-integrated logistics. For new stores, there is only the authority of online logistics, and there are currently four logistics service providers: GBS/Hecny/Unitrade/Cainiao.
For self-delivery, merchants must print the waybill from the OZON background and stick it on the goods after the user places an order, and then send the goods to the domestic logistics sorting center or collection point by themselves, and then the logistics service provider will send the order products to Russian users.

Characteristics of online logistics: Official highly cooperative service providers do not need to prepay freight, which is deducted from sales at the monthly settlement, and the price is transparent; due to the online integration of logistics, the transportation situation is automatically upgraded, and merchants do not need to submit; products are generally delivered to the distribution point and must be picked up by the customer.

Characteristics of integrated logistics: official cooperative service provider, logistics price is provided by logistics service provider, and freight is also settled with logistics provider; orders can be delivered to the door, or you can choose to pick it up yourself; logistics status will also be automatically upgraded, but the express order number does not need to be submitted manually by the merchant.

Characteristics of non-integrated logistics: third-party cooperation, logistics price is provided by logistics service provider, and freight is also settled with logistics provider; orders can only be delivered to the door, wrong address may lead to non-delivery and return; express order number and logistics status need to be submitted and updated manually.
Therefore, for small and medium-sized merchants, it is best to choose online logistics or integrated logistics. After all, it is an official cooperation, and all aspects are more secure! For cross-border merchants, the OZON platform also focuses on OZON’s official online logistics and integrated logistics.
Of course, cross-border merchants can also use non-integrated logistics mode, but it is more binding. Large and medium-sized enterprises have their own perfect supply chain and after-sales system, and can use non-integrated logistics to reduce costs and increase flexibility.
