Platform Requirements
The ability of one merchant to have multiple warehouses is only valid on the Whale Bud 2.0 platform. Whale Bud 1.0 does not support this feature. -
Warehouse association
Currently, it only supports multiple warehouses for one merchant, but is not compatible with multiple warehouses for one product. This means that each product released by a supplier can only be associated with one bonded warehouse, and the same product cannot be associated with multiple warehouses at the same time. -
Order Disassembly
When customers purchase products from different bonded warehouses of the same supplier at the front desk at the same time, they will be disassembled according to the warehouse. Therefore, products from the same warehouse are processed in the same order. -
Order fulfillment operations
a. For merchants using Cainiaocang, no modification is required. The Cainiao GOS system will automatically push the order to the designated warehouse based on the product relationship set by the merchant in GOS, so it is recommended to use the Cainiao warehouse.
b. For the three-party warehouses connected with Jiezhou, the platform has completed the necessary modifications, and Jiezhou will automatically distribute the orders.
c. Important note: If a merchant uses a self-developed ERP, corresponding modifications need to be made in the ERP system to ensure normal use of functions. Specifically, a new field needs to be added to the Whale Bud TOP interface: store_code, which is used to select the warehouse level of the order. Before completing this modification, be sure not to bind multiple warehouses to the Whale Bud platform.
If you use one vendor with multiple warehouses without completing the modification of the ERP system, it may cause multiple warehouses to receive orders at the same time, causing problems such as failure to ship or multiple shipments, and thus causing asset losses.
