Jumia Platform FBJ (Fulfillment by Jumia) Overseas Warehouse Shipping Guide

FBJ (Fulfillment by Jumia) is a service for sellers that allows them to prepare and package sales products in advance and send them to Jumia’s overseas warehouses in Africa, so that Jumia’s official delivery personnel can deliver them on behalf of them. However, this service is currently only available to sellers on sites in Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire.

In order to encourage international sellers, Jumia provides a policy of free storage fees for the first month and no delivery fees. Thereafter, warehousing charges will be calculated based on 200 Naira per product per month.

Before using FBJ overseas warehouse services, sellers need to apply to become an FBJ merchant first. The application qualifications are as follows (you only need to meet any of the following to apply to become an FBJ seller):

  1. Monthly sales reach $3,000.
  2. The account is a silver seller (the seller level can be viewed on the right side of the account after logging in).
  3. The monthly sales volume of a single product reaches 100 or more.
  4. The store rating is 3.5 or above.

Based on the above information, when deciding whether to apply for FBJ services, sellers should fully consider their own sales situation and entry qualifications in order to formulate reasonable stocking and delivery strategies.
