Up to 50 custom classifications can be set, and automatic classification is based on the shelves. The Shopee platform will automatically classify newly launched products and hot-selling products. We can delete unnecessary custom categories and click the trash can button to delete custom categories, but automatic categories cannot be deleted. Classification and Shopee Classification. Automatic categories and Shopee categories do not display a trash can button and cannot be deleted. We can disable automatic categorization to control the display of store categories in the store.

When we add a custom category, we only need to click the “+Add Custom Category” button on the upper left to add a new category. The category name can be up to 50 characters and cannot be repeated.

If we click the “+Add Custom Category” button multiple times, we can add multiple custom categories at the same time.

Enter the category name when adding a custom category, and then click the “+Add Product” button on the right to add products in the category. We can select multiple products to add, or we can Add products by searching for product names or IDs. Up to 2,500 products can be added to a single category.

We can view the products under the store category through the number of products displayed after the category name and the “View Details” link. For custom categories, you can also add products directly through the “View Details” link. We can also Click the “Delete” button to delete unwanted items from the category.

The “View Details” link of automatic classification and Shopee classification can only be used to view products, and cannot be added or deleted.

After the product is added, it may take 30 seconds to take effect. After adding the category name and product, click the “Save” button to save the category and product. The classification status saved by the system is closed by default. We can click the “Enable” button first and then save.

After the category settings are saved, we can preview the category display status in the foreground. The front desk of the Shopee platform can display the four categories set by the seller. If there are more than four categories, they will be collapsed. We can click the drop-down menu on the right side of “More” to display more categories.
