The threshold for operating the OZON platform is not high. Of course, it cannot be directly compared with other e-commerce platforms. Each platform corresponds to a different market, and each country has different living consumption habits and preferences, which leads to great differences. To achieve good results in OZON, you need to have a deep understanding of its operating logic, be familiar with the Russian market and follow the platform rules.
Like the size chart of shoes and clothing products on the OZON platform, many sellers just fill in the product attribute parameters when listing. However, in fact, in order to improve the shopping experience of buyers and reduce the return rate, OZON has specially added a virtual size table constructor for products with size parameters such as clothing, shoes, and sports equipment. Sellers can selectively add product parameters to the size table virtual constructor, so that buyers can easily choose the appropriate product size before placing an order.
1. Where can buyers find these size charts?
On the product card, you can see the size table logo. Just click the logo to view it.
For clothing and footwear products, it is displayed above the size selection bar.
For other products, it is displayed above the attribute list.
2. How to use the size table constructor?
Open the size table constructor: In the Products and Prices section, select the product you want to edit and enter the product list page. Click Edit Product and open the Media tab. In the Size Table section, click Visual Editor and create a new size table.
3. Add widgets: The constructor will open in the right panel, and you can create a size table in the virtual editor. The editor contains 3 sections:
Table: Add a product size template table. You can change the name of the row, add or delete rows and columns, and add prompt information at the top of each row.
Measurement Guide: Provide measurement suggestions for buyers. The text in this section cannot be modified.
Notes: Fill in other notes related to the product. You can choose an existing option or decide which sections you need, including the subject and text description.
Note: The number and order of the size table sections can be arbitrary, but at least one table is required.
4. Check the results: If you want to see how the created size table will look on the website, click Preview to preview it in computer and mobile mode. If you need to make changes, click Back to continue editing.
5. Add the table to the product page:
In the upper right corner of the constructor, click Copy JSON or click Publish.
If you choose to copy the JSON content, go to the Products and Prices section, open the product list and click Edit Product in the desired product row. Go to the Media tab and paste the code into the JSON table in the Size Table column.
Click Continue and save the product.
Due to the characteristics of the product and platform rules, some OZON sellers make the size chart into an image and display it on the detail page or product attachment. However, for some buyers, this means that they need to click on the product to view the detailed size, and cannot intuitively understand the size information on the product page. This method will extend the product conversion chain, thereby affecting the product conversion rate.
On the OZON platform, understanding and making full use of the size table constructor will not only help improve the buyer’s shopping experience, but also optimize product promotion in a highly competitive market.
