Detailed explanation of Wish platform merchant background settings and account management

In the Wish merchant backend, users can fully manage their store operations. This article will introduce in detail the functional modules and account setup steps of the Wish backend so that merchants can effectively utilize this platform.

Wish backend interface overview

After completing the registration, merchants need to visit Wish’s merchant backend URL and enter their account and password to log in. After successfully logging in, the user will see the initial interface, and the system will display different functional modules based on the merchant’s operating conditions. The menu navigation bar in the upper left corner includes seven main options such as homepage, products, orders, customer issues, performance, violations and system information. It displays the functions required for all merchant operations and is designed to provide product management, order processing, performance viewing and After-sales service provides guidance.

In the upper right corner, merchants can see the store name and its language switching options, as well as help and account shortcut menus. Please note that the store name is shown, not the company name, to ensure professionalism. In addition, merchants can also find the contact information of their account managers in this section. All merchants have corresponding account managers who can be contacted via email when necessary.

Merchant Service and Help

The notification area is used to publish training notices, event previews, system updates and policy change information. The Wish Express project is highly recommended, and merchants can apply if they want to participate. The customer service Xiaozhi area provides online help, through which merchants can quickly ask questions and solve various problems for the store.

Account setting method

After entering the Wish backend, the merchant clicks “Account” → “Settings” in the upper right corner to enter the account setting options. Before setting up basic information, users need to enter a password for verification. If two-step verification is enabled, they also need to enter the verification code received by the bound mobile phone.

Basic information and display settings

In the basic information section, merchants can view information such as merchant ID, account manager, username and email address. It should be noted that only the first and last names are allowed to be modified in the basic information, and the rest of the information cannot be changed. Display settings involve the management of store names and image images. Currently, only store image modifications are supported.

There are two ways to upload store images: one is to upload from the computer, and the other is to paste directly through the network URL. For computer upload, merchants need to click the “Upload from Computer” button in sequence, select the images to be uploaded, and click “Update” to save the changes after completion; if they choose to upload via URL, they need to copy the image URL that has been uploaded to the network or cloud disk. Paste and click “Update” to save when finished.

Through the above steps, merchants can effectively set up and manage various functions of the Wish backend and improve store operation efficiency.
