How to batch upload products to Wish platform using CSV
Using CSV files to upload product information is an effective way for sellers on the Wish platform to achieve fast and efficient batch uploads. This file format can import hundreds or even thousands of products into the system at one time, saving time and energy. This article will detail the steps and precautions on how to upload products in batches using CSV.
1. Create CSV file
First, you need to create a spreadsheet of product information. Taking Microsoft Excel as an example, when creating a table, the first row should list the product attributes that may be needed, and the data in this row does not need to be modified. When filling in products and their attributes, it is recommended to control between 10 and 20 products initially. If your products have multiple attributes, such as color and size, you can start by uploading a small number of products.
When you complete filling in the product information, be sure to save it as a CSV file. If using Excel, select “File” – “Save As” and then select “Comma Separated Values (.csv)” as the storage format. Attributes that should usually be included are: model number, item number, price, product name (title), quantity (inventory), shipping cost, product main image link, label, product description, product size, product color, manufacturer’s recommended retail price, product Brand, product image link, product barcode and shipping time, etc. It should be noted that the links of all pictures must be uploaded in the form of URLs. You can store the pictures in the cloud disk and then fill in their links into the CSV file.
2. Upload CSV file
After logging in to your account in the Wish merchant backend, click the “Products” menu and select the “Product CSV File” option in “Add New Product”. The system will then jump to the appropriate page, and you just need to select the CSV file you created previously and click Upload.
3. Map CSV columns to Wish attributes
After uploading, you need to perform attribute mapping to ensure that the uploaded attribute names match the attribute names in the Wish system. On the left side of the page, you can map attributes, and on the right side of the page, you can see a preview of the product information being uploaded. Once you have ensured that all necessary fields have been mapped, you will see the Continue button change from blue to gray, which means you can proceed.
4. Upload confirmation and upload status
You will receive an instant confirmation message once the product has been uploaded. According to the system prompts, the product entry process will be completed within 24 hours. In the meantime, you can click the “View Import Status Page” blue button to check the status of your uploaded products.
Through the above steps, Wish sellers can effectively use CSV files to upload products in batches and improve the efficiency of product launch.
