Souq Platform Seller Order Management and Shipping Operation Guide

With the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce around the world, Souq, as one of the major e-commerce platforms in the Middle East, provides sellers with powerful order management functions. This article aims to detail how Souq sellers can effectively manage and process orders through their sales panel to provide the best customer service experience.

Order management page

First, sellers need to log in to their Souq seller account and enter the sales panel, where they select “Orders” – “Order Management” to enter the order management page. This page displays the status of all orders, including “pending”, “confirmed”, “shipped” and “delivered”. By default, 20 orders are displayed on each page.

Pending orders

After receiving the order notification from the Souq buyer, the seller must confirm the order, package and ship it within one to three days. In the “Pending Action” option, sellers can select one or more orders for batch processing and click the “Confirm Order” button; they can also confirm each order individually from the order details page.

Order confirmed

The confirmed order will be automatically transferred to the “Confirmed” option. At this time, the seller should print a shipping note with an AWB (Air Waybill) as a delivery voucher. If the seller orders shipping materials from Souq, they need to wait for delivery to the designated pick-up point within 48 hours. After completing the order packaging, print the shipping note with the AWB information, and the order status will be updated from “Confirmed” to “Shipping”.

Order shipped

In the “shipped” option, sellers can view all orders that have been sent but have not yet reached the customer. In order to ensure a good customer service experience, it is recommended that sellers enable the automatic order tracking function to ensure that Souq buyers can receive the goods in time. When the courier scans the information code on the AWB, the order status will change to “Delivered”.

Order delivered

Finally, in the “Delivered” option, sellers can see the details of all orders that have been delivered, such as delivery date, AWB number and the funding status associated with them. Once the funds become available, the corresponding amount will be highlighted in green, prompting the seller to withdraw cash from the “Finance” option.

New filter function

In order to facilitate sellers to manage orders more efficiently, Souq has also launched a new filtering function. Through the “Advanced Search” function at the top, sellers can create multiple filters according to their own needs and filter orders according to specific conditions or date ranges.

To sum up, it is crucial for sellers to be familiar with the order management process on the Souq platform. This will not only help them better control their business, but also stand out in a highly competitive market environment. I hope every Souq seller can make good use of these tools and achieve brilliant success in the Middle East e-commerce field.
