There are too many association factors on Amazon, some are man-made and some are accidental. But association is irreversible. How can sellers avoid association? The following precautions are sorted out.
1. Prevent association when registering a new account
① Do not register a new account on a network (broadband, router) where an account has been closed.
② Do not register a new account on a computer (host, system) where an account has been closed.
③ Do not register a new account with closed account information (such as business license, credit card, mobile phone number, payment account, email address).
④ Amazon allows sellers to use the same set of company information to register an account on different Amazon sites (such as Japan, Europe, and North America), but does not allow the same seller to have two or more accounts on the same site. Otherwise, the seller’s account will be judged as associated. Sellers unknowingly register a new account with some of the same registration information (such as company name, credit card information). If the new account is associated with an old account, Amazon may only retain the old account. If it is associated with a new account, both accounts may be closed.
2. Prevent association in operation account operation
① Do not operate multiple accounts on the same computer (host).
② Do not operate multiple accounts under the same network cable IP environment.
③ Under the same network cable, if you want to use a virtual server network to register an account, it is recommended to use two computers.
④ During holidays, the operator goes home or does not work in the office, but needs to manage the store. You can use a 4G wireless network card and a clean laptop to log in to the account, or use remote software to control the company computer.
3. Prevent association in network IP and computer use
① During the operation process, do not use mixed networks, do not switch networks in the middle, and do not connect the network cable incorrectly as in Case 4.
② Try not to use Wifi networks in public areas, such as hotel Wifi. It is recommended to log in to the account only on a dedicated network and dedicated computer, and try not to use VPS, because the security of VPS is not as high as that of a dedicated network cable
③ Try to use mobile phones to log in as little as possible. A fellow seller once asked if he could use his own mobile phone hotspot to register for Amazon? This is possible, but you need to make sure that the mobile phone’s network has not shared the hotspot with other Amazon accounts before. In addition, there are many inconveniences in logging into an account with a mobile phone, and it is easy to connect to the public network. It is recommended to use a computer to manage the account.
4. Stagger product lines in different stores
If the seller uses two sets of company information to register two accounts A and B on the same site. It is recommended that sellers plan the product lines of the two stores before listing products, and it is best to stagger the product lines. If there is a problem with account A, and the new account B wants to sell account A’s products, it is recommended not to upload all of account A’s products at the beginning. Sellers can first upload some products in categories that are not related to account A to account B, and then upload account A’s products at intervals.
