Manufacturing directly reflects the productivity level of a country. After joining the World Trade Organization (WTO), China’s manufacturing industry has actively integrated into the process of economic globalization and developed rapidly relying on the “demographic dividend” and comparative advantages. After 2010, China became the world’s largest manufacturing country and a true “world factory”. “Made in China” can be seen in more than 230 countries and regions in the world. In the United Nations Industrial Category Catalog, China is the only country with manufacturing capabilities in all industrial categories. Now, among the 500 major industrial products in my country, more than 220 of them rank first in the world in terms of output, which is almost the sum of the added value of the manufacturing industries of the world’s second-ranked United States and third-ranked Japan.

As China’s manufacturing industry is deeply integrated into the global manufacturing value chain, the world’s manufacturing landscape has undergone relatively large changes. High-income countries still account for about 60% of the world’s manufacturing added value, but the proportion has been declining in recent years. China’s share of the world’s manufacturing added value has risen from negligible to 1/4 of the world, and its export volume has continued to rise in the world.

At present, China, which has entered the late stage of industrialization, will not only contribute to the export of low-cost products under the global division of labor based on the medium and low value chain links, but will also be manifested in international cooperation in production capacity such as capital, technology and labor. At the same time, China has formed a complete industrial system and a huge manufacturing base, and has the industrial foundation to seize the historic opportunity of this scientific and industrial revolution.

Chinese manufacturing companies are actively carrying out industrial technology innovation, and relying on government policy support, they participate in some marketable exhibitions, especially in various internationally renowned industrial exhibitions. The status and share are constantly improving, and they participate in the global industrialization process through the exhibition platform. Intelligent manufacturing has developed rapidly in recent years and is an important direction for the transformation of the global manufacturing industry. At present, countries including the United States and Germany have introduced strategies and plans to revitalize the manufacturing industry and develop intelligent manufacturing. Participating in exhibitions, especially large-scale industrial exhibitions in Europe and the United States, is also an inevitable choice for companies to look at the world and understand industry trends.
