The Dragon Boat China Consolidation Project, also known as Amazon China Dragon Boat Consolidation Cross-border Logistics Service, is the strategic layout of Amazon Logistics Plus Project in China. Amazon officials hope to provide one-stop transportation, warehousing, packaging and delivery services for FBA products sold on the Amazon website based on their own warehouses in the UK, the US, Germany, France and other countries for many years, and ultimately achieve the logistics of warehouses in the place of origin and warehouses in the place of sale.

The Dragon Boat Project provides LCL (consolidation) logistics services and does not accept small batches of scattered mail. Amazon sellers in China can directly ship goods abroad through Amazon’s planes, ships and trucks, changing the traditional model of relying on express delivery or third-party logistics to ship goods abroad, and Amazon is responsible for delivering goods to the FBA warehouse in the country of sale, which is stable, fast and efficient. It is reported that customers participating in the Dragon Boat Project can make advance reservations for PBA warehouses to ensure that the goods can be warehoused in time, 5 days earlier than ordinary FBA goods.

That is to say, Amazon provides the first-leg service before FBA goods enter the warehouse. Chinese sellers only need to deliver the goods to Amazon’s warehouse in China, and then wait for the goods to be put on the shelves for sale. Amazon will be responsible for a series of affairs such as export customs clearance, transportation, import customs clearance, and goods warehousing. This will help Chinese sellers better develop markets in various countries, such as breaking through multiple barriers in Europe, including cross-border supervision, taxation, language, freight and payment, and fully covering goods in various European countries.

Its general process is Chinese factory (seller) → Amazon China warehouse → customs export → transportation → customs import → Amazon warehouse in the destination country → end customer.
