Automechanika
The Frankfurt International Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Exhibition (Automechanika) is held every two years and is the world’s largest automotive B2B trade fair brand. In 2018, the Automechanika series held 16 exhibitions in 15 countries. The exhibition held in Frankfurt attracted 4,987 exhibitors from 76 countries and regions to exhibit, with an exhibition area of 315,000 square meters.
In 2020, Automechanika will feature Body & Paint as a separate product group for the first time. To celebrate this move, Automechanika will hold international competitions in six countries: the UK, South Africa, China, Dubai, Mexico and Germany. In these countries, body and paint professionals will design car hoods while looking for inspiration in the countries where the Automechanika exhibition is held. A panel of experts in each country is responsible for selecting a national champion, who will then travel to Frankfurt to participate in the finals.
