Iran has a large population of 80 million, of which more than 65% are urban residents. At the same time, the proportion of young people is more than 60%, and the economic vitality and consumption potential are huge. It has the richest mineral resources in the world, and the reserves and production of oil, natural gas, iron, pot, coal, zinc, chromium, manganese, antimony, lead, boron, barite, marble, etc. are among the best in the world.

Although Iran has been subject to economic sanctions by the United States for more than 40 years, it has fully developed the largest and most comprehensive industrial system in the Middle East. Its technical level is slightly lacking, but it can just play the complementary advantages of “Made in China”. Railways, highways, infrastructure, etc. are all important contracting projects in China. The automobile industry accounts for 50% of the global export of China’s independent brands. It is the most important target market for companies such as Chery, JAC, Lifan, and Brilliance. In addition, the country’s oil, auto parts, electromechanical, food, beauty cosmetics, pharmaceutical chemicals, textiles, leather and other industries also import a large number of Chinese-made goods.

After decades of development, Iran’s exhibition industry has become a professional and mature industry. Except for a few industry exhibitions such as oil and automobiles, which are hosted by the government, most industry exhibitions are hosted and organized by private companies with more than 10 years of exhibition experience. Although Turkey and Dubai are also advantageous exhibition venues in the Middle East, thanks to Iran’s large population and market potential, as well as the advantages of complete industry, exhibitions in each industry can form a certain scale, basically reaching 10,000 square meters, and key industry exhibitions are all above 30,000 square meters. Both Iranian exhibitors and international exhibitors can achieve good results at the exhibition.

Currently, 90% of Tehran’s industry exhibitions are concentrated in the Tehran International Permanent Fair Ground. The exhibition center is located in the northern part of Tehran, with an indoor exhibition area of more than 120,000 square meters, an outdoor exhibition area of more than 50,000 square meters, 3 large parking lots, green spaces and gardens, supporting services such as banks, customs, and warehousing. There are also well-known four-star and five-star hotels around, and convenient transportation, which provides exhibitors and visitors with high-quality exhibition conditions. Influential local exhibitions have been held here over the years, so visitors have formed a relatively fixed visiting habit.

At the same time, there are a few exhibitions held in the Musala Exhibition Hall (MUSALLA), but because the exhibition area is less than 20,000 square meters, general large exhibitions cannot be held here.
