What is the export process of cross-border micro-e-commerce in my country? Here we take the “SF Express European Parcel Service” launched by SF Express as an example to look at the export process of cross-border micro-e-commerce.
1. Door-to-door collection
After receiving orders from foreign consumers, domestic cross-border micro-e-commerce prepares the goods and then calls the domestic logistics company to ask the logistics company to send staff to collect the goods. Of course, the collected goods must comply with the cross-border import and export policies, that is, they cannot be prohibited goods. This requires cross-border micro-e-commerce to check in advance according to the prohibited goods standards we mentioned earlier. In addition, when cross-border micro-e-commerce asks the logistics company to collect the goods at the door, it is best to read the goods transportation regulations of the logistics company in advance or consult the company’s salesperson to avoid the goods not meeting the transportation requirements of the logistics company.
2. Cargo security inspection
The staff of the domestic logistics company sends the collected goods back to the company’s designated location for security inspection. It should be noted that for goods that do not meet the transportation requirements of the logistics company, the staff of the logistics company will refuse to collect them when they collect them at the door. Of course, there may be deviations, such as the carelessness of the staff, and the contraband goods are shipped to the logistics company. And the cargo security inspection is to avoid this phenomenon. The security inspection process is mainly based on X-ray machine perspective, so that the goods in the package can be roughly seen, the contraband goods can be found in time, and the problem can be eliminated in the bud.
3. Cargo operation
After the security inspection of the goods, the staff of the logistics company will place them in different categories, such as electronic accessories will be placed in a warehouse dedicated to electronic accessories, and furniture will be placed in a warehouse dedicated to furniture. The purpose of this is to facilitate inspection and transportation.
4. Transit through Hong Kong
The logistics company will transport the goods to be transported to Hong Kong by various means of transportation (aircraft, trucks, etc.) as soon as possible. Hong Kong is the cargo transit station of the logistics company. The reason for choosing Hong Kong is that the transportation here is the most convenient, which can save the time for the goods to arrive at the exporting country.
Of course, the transit station does not have to choose Hong Kong, which is mainly determined by the business of the logistics company. SF Express chose Hong Kong because its business market is Europe, and Hong Kong is close to Europe, with many flights and convenient air transportation.
5. Cargo transit
After the logistics company loaded the goods in Hong Kong, the flight flew directly to the Netherlands. After entering the Netherlands, the first stop is naturally the Dutch customs. The customs will conduct security checks on the goods, and after the security checks are completed, the goods will be released and handed over to relevant domestic logistics companies.
6. Object delivery
After the domestic logistics company in Europe receives the goods sent by the Chinese logistics company from the customs, it will deliver the goods to the consumers in the country according to the corresponding order information. After the consumer completes the signing, the entire cross-border micro-e-commerce export process is over.
In fact, whether it is the import process or the export process, it is not static, especially in the situation where the Chinese government is constantly formulating the regulatory framework and various laws and regulations for cross-border micro-e-commerce to ensure the stable and rapid development of cross-border micro-e-commerce, it will still have many changes and uncertainties. But no matter how it changes, the overall direction will not change, that is, the import and export process will be more convenient and efficient.
