1. Seller Qualification Requirements

(1) Taobao sellers must comply with the “Taobao Marketing Activity Rules” and Tmall sellers must comply with the “Tmall Marketing Activity Registration Benchmark Rules”.

(2) The three DSRs of the seller’s store are not less than 4.7.

(3) The refund dispute rate is not higher than 0.3%.

2. Product Qualification Requirements

(1) The main image of the product is clear.

(2) The three DSRs of the seller’s store are not less than 4.7.

(3) The length of one side of the product is less than 90cm or the weight is less than 20kg. Currently, the only delivery method is air transportation, so the product must meet the air transportation standards.

(4) The product does not infringe on trademarks.

For products that meet the above standards, Taobao will promote them to overseas sites according to the requirements of overseas markets.

3. Sellers’ Notice

(1) Seller Operation

Sellers register and sign the activity confirmation letter, authorizing Taobao and its subsidiaries or a third party designated by Taobao to display the product information published by the seller on the Taobao platform on the Lazada platform and its affiliated platforms. No other operation is required. After the product selection by the store clerk, the system automatically translates the product title and attributes, and automatically synchronizes the current price and inventory to the front desk.

(2) Shipping Issue

Sellers can set the existing domestic shipping fee template. If the current status of the product is free shipping, the domestic section will be directly shipped to the Lazada shipping warehouse; if the current status of the product is not free shipping, the products of Lazada Taobao Selected Store will incur postage to the Lazada shipping warehouse.

(3) Shipping Issue

The products purchased by overseas consumers will be transported by consolidated shipping. Taobao sellers only need to ship to the domestic warehouse address according to the daily order address requirements. The shipping time requirements and the automatic confirmation of receipt time are consistent with the current platform rules.

(4) Return and Exchange Issues

Lazada’s return and exchange rules are the same as Taobao’s. Buyers can only apply for a refund if the goods have not been shipped. If the goods are damaged or sent by mistake during the shipment to the shipping warehouse, the seller must follow Taobao’s rules to return and exchange the goods. If the goods have been shipped from the shipping warehouse to a foreign country and there are no quality issues, they will not be returned or exchanged. However, if the consumer requests a refund or the express delivery fails, the goods will be returned to Lazada’s overseas warehouse and will not be returned to China.

(5) Dispute Issues

Complaints and disputes from overseas consumers will not affect the DSR score of domestic stores at present, but will affect the display weight of overseas products. If a buyer complains about a seller selling counterfeit goods, etc., and the complaint is established, the seller is likely to be blacklisted.
