FBJ means that sellers can pack the products they want to sell and send them to Jumia’s overseas warehouse in Africa for stocking in advance, and then Jumia’s official delivery staff will ship them on their behalf. However, this service is currently only available to sellers in Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire. Currently, for international sellers, Jumia has a policy of free storage fees for the first month, no delivery fees, and subsequent storage fees are charged at 200 naira per item per month.
New sellers need to operate on the platform for a period of time before they can apply for FBJ services, because Jumia needs to comprehensively consider the sales of new sellers to select hot-selling products for FBJ services.
Before using FBJ overseas warehouse services, you need to apply to become a FBJ merchant. The entry qualifications are as follows (if you meet any of the following conditions, you can apply to become a FBJ seller):
(1) Monthly sales of US$3,000.
(2) The account is a silver seller (after logging in to the account, the seller level will be displayed on the right side of the account).
(3) Monthly sales of a single item are 100 or more.
(4) The store score is greater than or equal to 3.5 points.
