After downloading the form, the seller will see dozens of columns. How to fill in each column? Before filling in the form, the seller can prepare the product information in advance. The following are mandatory items:

(1)SKU: “Stock Keeping Unit” abbreviation, fill in the self-set barcode, so that the corresponding product can be quickly found when shipping later.

(2)is_primary_variation (parent default value): a field used to specify the parent SKU. The default value is 0. Setting it to 1 can add the parent SKU. Generally, fill in 0 or 1 here.

(3)product-type (product category): If you don’t know what category the product belongs to, you can query it in the “Valid Values” of the inventory file. For example, if the seller downloads the inventory of the sports category, you can select “Sporting Goods” here. The maximum length is 25 characters.

(4)product-title-English (product English title): The platform will automatically convert English into Spanish or Portuguese. You can also refer to the product titles and details pages of peer sellers or similar products. The maximum length is 150 characters. For example, for a LED sports rechargeable flashlight, you can fill in “Sport Wrist Watch LED Illuminated”.

(5) description-English (product English description): In this column, only product information is allowed. Special symbols, promotional information and seller contact information are not allowed. The maximum length is 4,000 characters.

(6) brand (product brand): The brand name is up to 50 characters. For example, the brand name of the watch is “Citizen”, so you need to fill in “Citizen” here. If the seller’s product is not branded, you can fill in “other”.

(7) model (product model): The maximum length is 50 characters. For branded products, please fill in the specific model of the product. For unbranded products, you can fill in other information, such as product name, or Seller SKU, etc.

(8) IMAGE-URL (image link): The product image must be a pure white background without borders, logos or watermarks. Banners, promotional text or QR codes are not allowed. The pixel size should be at least 500×500, and the recommended pixel size should be 1200×900. The image format can be: jpg, jpeg, png or gif (without animation). The maximum number of images is 6, and each image should not exceed 10MB. On the “Images” page, you need to use the image link website to upload the image, and the seller can search it by himself. Then, use the text column to organize them together, and then copy and fill in the form. If you need to insert two images, write the image link in the image column and use ~^~ to separate the product image URL, for example:

(9)country-of-origin: The country in which the product is produced can be filled in with the code of the corresponding country (for example: US, CN).

(10)shipping-from: The country from which the package is shipped. You can fill in the code of the corresponding country (for example, US, CN).

(11)UPC: There are two main types of UPC codes, namely UPC-E and UPC-A. They are essentially the same, except that there is no number 0 in the UPC-E code. Now the United States and Canada are mainly using UPC codes, and most other countries use EAN. Sellers can choose at least one from UPC, EAN, ISBN or GTIN, with a maximum length of 25 characters.

(12)weight-unit: The weight unit of general products is pounds (lb) or kilograms (kg). Sellers can choose according to actual conditions.

(13)package-weight: Only numerical values are allowed. For example, if the product weight is 2.5kg, only 2.5 needs to be filled in.

(14)dimension-unit: The general unit of dimension is feet (in) or centimeters (cm).

(15)package-width: Only numeric values are allowed. For example, if the package width is 25cm, only 25 should be entered.

(16)package-height: Only numeric values are allowed. For example, if the package height is 10cm, only 10 should be entered.

(17)package-length: Only numeric values are allowed. For example, if the package length is 10cm, only 10 should be entered.

(18)condition: The available options are “New”, “Used”, and “Refurbished”. If you are an international seller, you must enter “New”.

(19)sale-price: If the price is in US dollars, the currency symbol should not be included. If the seller enters “US$ 54.05”, the product cannot be uploaded. You should enter 54.05. Chinese sellers need to consider the shipping cost and give a profitable price.

(20) site-xx (platform site): Sellers should fill in the corresponding price under the corresponding site they operate.

(21) quantity (product quantity): The maximum quantity allowed is “999”.

Note:

(1) New accounts are not allowed to upload more than 100 SKUs at a time. If the seller has reached the limit, they need to contact the MercadoLibre platform to increase the number of SKUs uploaded for the product.

(2) If the form submitted by the seller does not have Spanish or Portuguese, the platform will automatically translate the form content. Of course, if the seller can write the product listing in the accurate local language, it will be of great help in improving conversion rates.

(3) There must be no separators in the product title, product description or any other text field. If the seller needs to break a sentence, use spaces.
