The Amazon Price Protection Program Policy is a policy that Amazon has specifically proposed to its dealers. If the dealer reduces the current ASIN price, Amazon will automatically apply the new price to all of its inventory (for a specific ASIN). According to this policy, if you reduce the cost price of the product provided to Amazon, Amazon will automatically apply the lower ex-factory price to all unfulfilled purchase orders, in-transit products, and current inventory.

For more information, you can log in to the Vendor Center (Vendor Centra) and enter the Resource Center to view all policies, or visit Amazon’s Price Protection page.

The new policy will reduce the probability of merchants receiving high-cost inventory returns and exchanges, and allow Amazon’s system to update merchants’ new prices more quickly. At the same time, it will help merchants get super low price labels on the retail details page to help sell products.

Application process for price protection

Step 2: Log in to your Amazon account, and the recent order information will automatically pop up. Select the order information that needs to be protected.

Step 4: Click “Chat” to start communicating with the online customer service. If you are good at English, Live Chat is undoubtedly the fastest way. Even Chinese English can be understood by the online customer service.
