On the Lazada platform, all products sold online require product review. Quality inspection can only be performed in the Malaysian Seller Center and cannot be uploaded to the Seller Center in other countries.

Products that fail the review will appear on the poor quality tab. Sellers can click on the poor quality tab to see the reasons for rejection and make corresponding modifications.

The following are the reasons for product review failure due to non-picture factors:

Reason 1: The product sold is unqualified.

Lazada does not allow the sale of Xiaomi brand products, including mobile phones, power banks, bracelets, etc. For some specific brands of products, including Xiaomi and other banned brands, overseas sellers cannot sell them. Please refer to the training materials on banned products. In addition, food is also a prohibited category on Lazada. Sellers should carefully read Lazada’s list of prohibited products and avoid uploading these products.

Reason 2: The same product already exists. Lazada does not allow duplicate listings, and sellers should delete duplicate uploads of the same products.

Reason 3: Lack of product information.

One reason is the lack of information about size and weight. The size and weight of the package are required and the seller needs to fill in this information. Another reason for failure due to lack of information is the lack of maintenance information. Foreign sellers do not have a warranty period. The warranty period column must not be blank. You should choose not to have a warranty period.

Reason 4: The product price is unreasonable.

Scenario 1: The promotional price is too low. Since the product price includes shipping and other charges, the product price should not be less than 1 US dollar. Moreover, it should be noted that the currency unit is the local currency. Situation two is that the breaking force is too large, exceeding 80%; the company stipulates that the minimum promotional discount for this product is 20% off, that is, the minimum promotional price is 20% of the original price.

Reason 5: The description or attributes do not match the product.

When the product image is inconsistent with the description, the correct image should be re-uploaded, or the product information should be changed to make the two exactly match. Secondly, a product should not have multiple attributes. Only a few products such as clothes, shoes, rings, sheets and quilts can have multiple size codes on Lazada, and these products must have multiple attributes of size, while other products should not have size attributes. It should be noted that all Lazada products cannot be made in multiple colors, and products of different colors must be uploaded separately.

Reason 6: Possible infringement or counterfeiting.

There is a trademark on the product or packaging, but in order to obtain formal authorization from the trademark owner, the product is defined as infringing; or the product is similar to other products enough to mislead consumers into thinking that these products are Produced and sold by other brands; or the product contains unique design elements protected by a trademark, but the product is not officially authorized by the trademark owner.

Generally, the auditor will only give a reason for a product to be unqualified, but this product may contain many unqualified areas. Therefore, it is recommended that when modifying the product, you should check each part to prevent it from failing the review due to other reasons next time, modify it again, and wait for the review again.
