In order to provide users with a better shopping environment and consumer experience, all sellers (malls/selections/auctions) must provide appreciation period services in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law (sellers excluded from the Consumer Protection Law types, except for special goods/services excluded by exceptions).

● The appreciation period of the Consumer Protection Law is 7 days (the day after the buyer picks up the goods + 7 days)

● The appreciation period for mall sellers is 15 days (the day after the buyer picks up the goods + 15 days) )

● Starting from January 6, 2020, if a seller delivers content that violates the appreciation period regulations to consumers on the product page, store introduction, or chat content, Shopee will give points according to the seller’s scoring system 2 points. In addition, the illegal product page will also be deleted.

Consumer Protection Law does not apply to products during the appreciation period

1. If the product has the following special reasons, return service will not be provided , please state it in the product description in advance. If it is not stated in advance, the application cannot be excluded (please refer to the “Applicable Guidelines for Reasonable Exceptions to the Right to Cancel Communications Transactions”).

2. According to the implementation details of the Consumer Protection Law, buyers are allowed to inspect the goods within a reasonable range, but if the condition of the returned goods cannot be restored (labels are cut, water is removed, accessories are incomplete, etc.), the seller may refuse the return in accordance with the law. Or make an agreement with the buyer to refund after deducting part of the price. If there is any return dispute, both parties may choose to handle it in accordance with Shopee’s refund and return policy, or seek assistance from the relevant competent authorities.

3. Items 5 to 7 may be subject to conditional return application. It does not mean that they cannot be returned after being sold. Please state the return conditions in the product description in advance, and do not claim that they cannot be returned or exchanged once sold.
