Before I start explaining how to set up a sitemap, I feel it is necessary for you to understand the default menu first. What are default menus? Shopify has two default menus that appear on every page: the main menu and the footer menu.

1. Main menu

The main menu is displayed at the top of each page of the Shopify independent station. Generally speaking, the main menu has two default menu items.

Home: The homepage of the Shopify standalone site.

Catalog: Catalog of all products.

2. Footer menu

The footer menu is displayed at the bottom of the web page. For example, Shping Poiey FAQ, etc. Quick lins can include Sippig Poiey FAQ, etc.

Here’s how to set up a site map.

First, log in to the Shopify backend and click the “Online Store” → “Site Map” button.

At this time, you can see the default menu of the Shopip system. Main meu is the main menu, and Footer menu is the footer menu.

Then, you need to edit this menu to make it look more professional and trustworthy to your customers. Taking the about us and contact us pages as an example, it is generally customary to place the contact us page in the main menu and the about us page in the footer menu. First, let’s introduce how to put the contact us page: click the “Mainmenu” button to open the editing page, and then click the “Add Menu Item” button in the new page.

Enter the name of the contact us page in the dialog pop-up window. Note: Either all letters are capitalized, or the first letter is capitalized.

Click the “Link” text box, relevant buttons will appear, select the “Page” button, find the already created contact us page, and then click the “Add” button.

At this time, you will find that a menu has been added to the “Main menu” page, which is the contact page just added.

At this time, if you preview the home page effect that visitors will see, you will find that a “CONTACTUS” button has been added to the main menu.

Finally, add the about us page to the “Footer menu” page.

Similarly, preview the effect on the homepage of the independent station.
