(1) Contact the investment manager to obtain the “Jumia Overseas Warehouse Application Notice” and fill out the online application form to apply for a COD account. Here you need to use a different email address from your direct mail account to register.
(2)Official review takes 3~5 working days.
(3) Check the review results via email. If approved, the new email address filled in will receive a password change email.
If the review fails, you will receive a disapproval email.
(4) Sellers who pass the review need to bind the P-card account that is the same as the direct mail account within 1 working day. After the binding is completed, they need to inform the merchant manager to activate the account.
Basic delivery process:
Obtain the “PO” (Purchase Order, purchase order) in the “Seller Center” – Prepare the goods and prepare the packing list document – Send the forecast to the logistics provider Make a booking via email and get the SO# (warehousing number). Pack it according to the specifications and affix the Jumia SKU barcode and outer box label. Ship it to the logistics provider’s warehouse. After the international transportation is completed, send an email to Jumia’s overseas warehouse to make an appointment for delivery. Waiting for the goods to be put on the shelves.
Shipping Notes:
(1) Send an email forecast to the logistics provider at least one working day in advance before shipment to obtain the warehousing number (2) Charged products need to be sent with the forecast email MSDS
(3) A PO corresponds to a Packing List and cannot be shipped in batches. Mobile phones and tablets need to apply for PO separately.
(4) If the goods actually received by the Jumia warehouse do not match the product or quantity of the seller in the Jumia Express purchase order, the platform will take the actual product and actual quantity as the standard and arrange it normally according to the recommended price of the product. After the product is put into storage and put on the shelves, sellers can reprice the product in the Jumia Seller Center.
(5)A SKU can only be packed in the same box and cannot be packed in different boxes.
(6) To make an appointment for warehouse delivery, you need to send an email to Jumia’s overseas warehouse 48~96 hours in advance and confirm the delivery time.
(7) For high-value goods, sellers can purchase insurance.
To obtain PO in Seller Center, click “Products” on the backend homepage of Seller Center>”Jumia Express”(Jmuia official logistics)>”Send to Warehouse”(send to warehouse)>” Create New Request” (create a new option), select the SKU, and finally fill in the SKU information as required in the pop-up box.
