Free shipping promotion may be the least frequently used type of promotional discount, because most FBA sellers do not need this type of promotion, and most self-shipping sellers set free shipping. But the author still wants to teach you how to use it, in case you need it. First, click the “Create” button under “Free Shipping” to come to a settings page. This page is the free shipping promotion page.
First of all, we must understand that when we set up any promotion on Amazon, the priority of filling in the conditions is from top to bottom, because the settings at the upper level will affect the settings at the lower level.
Look at the first option first, “Buver purchases”. There are two options in this option, one is at least this quantity of items, the other is at least amount (in$), Each country’s currency
symbol will be different, but the usage method is the same. The former refers to how many products can be purchased to reach the promotion threshold, and the latter refers to the amount of purchase to reach the promotion threshold. After selecting the threshold you want here, proceed to the next step.
Purchased items: You need to select products here as the application objects of Free Shipping Promotions. When selecting a product, you can select the drop-down Entire catalog, or select the hyperlink next to it to select the product type to which you want to apply this promotion. Can be created based on options such as ASIN, category, brand, and more.
Buyer sets: Discounts that buyers can get. The default for this promotion is Free Shipping.
Applies to: What products do we have that can be shipped for free? The default is the product purchased by the buyer, and this promotion cannot be changed here.
?Qualifying Shipping Options: Sellers can choose free shipping shipping methods. Here are all self-shipping shipping methods. Sellers are asked to choose the promotional method that they want to provide free shipping to buyers.
Advanced Options: Advanced Options appear for each Promotion. The sixth option listed appears when you select Advanced Options.
Advanced Options- Exclude Items: When doing any kind of promotion, we can choose from the exclusion options. Here we exclude the products that we do not participate in the Promotion, and we need to calculate them based on our own profits. .
After completing the first step of settings, come to the second step of settings.
The second step is to set the start date and end date of this promotion. Enter the start date and end date you want here, and then enter our tracking code for easy observation. It is recommended that you set up a tracking code that can be understood at a glance to facilitate subsequent tracking statistics. Do not use the default tracking code, otherwise the later statistics will be very confusing.
Start Date: The start time of the promotion.
? End Date: The end time of the promotion.
Internal Description: The identification code of the promotion is a code used by sellers to distinguish different promotions.
?Tracking ID: tracking number. This code is for internal use and cannot be seen by customers, which is the best way for sellers to differentiate their promotions.
The third step requires limiting the usage type of this code. Careful setting is required here, especially the later full discounts and buy-one-get-one-free discounts. If you set it up incorrectly, you may not only not receive a penny for your order, but you will also have to ship it to the customer, and you may even have to pay a commission to Amazon.
Here the seller needs to choose the type of discount code. The first type is called Single-use, the second type is called Group, and the third type is called None. Among them, the first type is usually used when we send a certain discount code to a certain person or a few people individually, the second type is checked when it is used by all customers, and the third type refers to not Use the discount code to get a discount directly. Therefore, sellers can choose the appropriate discount code type according to their specific needs.
After selecting the discount code type, continue to set the discount code. If the seller wants to make further settings for his discount code, he can click to set it.
? Checkout displav text: The text that is already used in the offer that the customer sees when checking out, just keep the content inside unchanged.

? Detail page displav text: It needs to be checked whether to display discounts on the product details page.
Purchased items displav text: The text displayed when the customer selects a product that can use the discount. Just select the default value.
? Detail page display text: The promotional information displayed on the details page can use the default value or be customized. If you have good text, you can use custom functions
? Display precedence: display priority, the default can be unchanged.
Terms and conditions: It is recommended to keep the seller’s relevant policies as they are.
After the settings are completed, click “Review” to perform a final inspection. After verifying that there are no problems, click “Submit” on the inspection page to submit.
