Amazon sellers also know that Amazon Outlet is a good way to clear inventory. There are two ways: outlet deal and outlet sale.
When applying for Amazon Outlet, please pay attention to: promotion time, independent contact to withdraw, product requirements, fees, registration failure and price modification.
How to declare Amazon Outlet?
View the list of products that can create clearance promotions or clearance sales through the inventory drop-down menu “Inventory Planning > Inventory Control Panel > Manage Redundant Inventory” on the Amazon Seller Platform;
Note : New option filter button: You can click: “Create clearance promotion” or “Carry out promotion” to filter out promotion condition ASINs that meet both promotion conditions.
Once you find a product list that you can create, the specific setup steps for participating in clearance promotions and clearance sales are different. The specific steps are as follows:
1. Create a clearance sale (Outlet Deal)
The first step: click “Create a clearance sale product list”;
The second step : Set promotion information according to recommended price and complete creation (automatically set activity start/end dates);
2. Create an Outlet Sale (Outlet Sale)
Step 1: Click on the product list Click “Carry out promotional activities”;
Step 2: Set the promotional information according to the recommended price and complete the creation (the start/end date of the activity needs to be set manually);
3. Why was it submitted? What if the Outlet Deal fails the review?
1) The ASIN submitted was not an invited ASIN;
2) The report was not completed before the specified time;
3) The price did not meet the requirements (recommendation Amazon sellers should not adjust prices after receiving the invitation email);
4) Conflict with already participated Deals;
5) Other compliance reasons (such as picture quality).
The above is the shared method for creating Amazon outlets. Although outlets are a good way to clear inventory, it is recommended that sellers not store too much inventory to prevent backlog clearance.
