There is an Alipay in the backend of “AliExpress”. This Alipay is different from the Alipay we filled in when registering to open a store. The Alipay here is the international version of Alipay, which is mainly used to receive U.S. dollars. We log in to the “AliExpress” seller Click “Transaction” – “Capital Account Management” – “Alipay International Account” in the background to activate the account. After clicking “Activate Now”, fill in the Alipay payment password and verify the mobile phone number, and the Alipay international account will be opened.
After opening an Alipay international account, we also need to set up bank account withdrawals and Alipay account withdrawals. The Alipay account setting is very simple, so I won’t introduce it here. We only need to click “Set up Alipay account withdrawals” Log in to your domestic Alipay account according to the prompts and you can successfully bind it. Here we focus on setting up a bank account to withdraw cash. After clicking “Set Bank Account Withdrawal”, we need to fill in the basic information of the bank account.
We fill in the basic information of the bank card. It should be noted that the bank card we fill in must support receiving U.S. dollars, and we can also add personal bank accounts and corporate bank accounts. If we choose a corporate account, we must have import and export rights to receive U.S. dollars and settle foreign exchange, and we must go through formal customs declaration procedures, and complete relevant export foreign exchange collection verification and international balance of payments statistical declarations at the bank before we can successfully collect and settle foreign exchange. A personal U.S. dollar account only needs to be able to receive individual U.S. dollar payments from Citibank Singapore. Both accounts must be debit cards, not credit cards. I recommend that you set up a personal US dollar collection account. This does not involve issues such as customs declaration and import and export rights, and is more convenient.
When filling in account information, there is a place where we need to fill in the Swift Code. If you don’t know what the Swift Code means, you can click “What is a Swift Number” below the fill-in-the-blank box to have a brief understanding of it. In fact, the Swift number is similar to the postal code we use to send express delivery. Regarding the Swift number, we can consult the bank where we apply for bank cards. Call the bank staff and they will tell us the Swift number. After setting it up, everyone can see the account we bound.
As you can see, we can also set up 2 bank accounts. In the Alipay international account, we can bind 3 bank cards, but domestic Alipay can only bind 1. The bank card is mainly used to collect money. US dollars, domestic Alipay is used to collect RMB. If we want to withdraw cash in RMB, there is no handling fee. If we want to withdraw cash in US dollars, a handling fee of USD 15 will be charged for each transaction. That is, no matter how much US dollars you withdraw, a handling fee of USD 15 will be charged for each transaction.
