In terms of page views, it is easier to understand the channels such as on-site search, direct access, and activities. However, many friends do not know where the other items on the site come from. In fact, the source of other page views on the site is mainly through our “AliExpress” Enter the store from the store homepage, associated product page, in-store grouping, in-store navigation bar, and buyer backend order transaction page. In the source of pageviews, we can see that the most people come from other channels on the site, and fewer people come from the category. In this way, we need to check whether the most accurate category is selected for each product.

In order to allow us to see the data in more detail, the “AliExpress” platform also provides a detailed data function under the store source analysis.

We can see the detailed data of the last 7 days, in which the total number of visitors from various channels is 18,221, the number of new visitors is 17,786, and the proportion of new visitors is 97.61%, which means that most of the visitors to our store They are all entering our store for the first time, with an average visit depth of 1.94 and a bounce rate of 84.86%. The lower the bounce rate, the higher the depth of access, which also shows that our store’s related product guidance is better. In Figure 8-10, we can see that the bounce rate of visitors who directly visit or enter our store with shopping carts is low, while the total bounce rate outside the site reaches 100%, indicating that we need to optimize the traffic outside the site.
