FedEx stands for Federal Express, which is one of the world’s largest express delivery companies. It provides services in 220 countries and regions. It is a door-to-door international express delivery service with wide coverage, safety, reliability, fast delivery time, and is suitable for transporting high-value and time-sensitive goods.

FedEx in mainland China and FedEx in Hong Kong are relatively independent. Their official websites are as follows:

1. Service Introduction

FedEx services are divided into priority (IP) and economy (IE):

FedEx IP: FedEx International Priority, FedEx priority service.

FedEx IE: FedEx Intermational Economy, FedEx economy service.

FedEx IP has a shorter delivery time and FedEx IE has a more affordable rate.

2. Shipping requirements

?Size limit: The maximum length of a single item is 270cm; the maximum size of a single item: length + 2×width + 2×height = 327cm.

?Weight limit: The billable weight of a single package shall not exceed 68kg.

Item type:

(1) Mainland FedEx: Mainly general goods. When shipping items with lithium batteries, you must provide MSDS certification and battery letter (the original must be provided), otherwise it cannot be shipped. Pure battery products and counterfeit brand products are not accepted.

(2) Hong Kong FedEx: Mainly general goods. Products with built-in batteries can be shipped, and you must provide a pro forma invoice, commercial invoice and product list. Pure battery products and counterfeit brand products are not accepted.

3. Rate reference

The above rate standard is for reference only. The final rate shall be subject to the official website of Mainland FedEx and Hong Kong FedEx or the rate provided by the logistics service provider (freight forwarder).

4. Additional charges

(1) Fuel surcharge: It changes every month. The fuel rate shall be subject to the latest rate officially announced by FedEx.

(2) Remote area surcharge: Parcels sent to remote areas are subject to remote area surcharge. The reference fee (currency unit is RMB): 4 yuan × weight (kg) × (1 + fuel cost of the month) or 180 yuan × (1 + fuel cost of the month), whichever is higher. For remote areas, please check the official FedEx website.

(3) The fee for changing the address is: 100 yuan/ticket × (1 + fuel cost of the month).

(4) Residential delivery surcharge: 25 yuan/ticket × (1 + fuel cost of the month). If a remote area delivery surcharge has been charged, this residential surcharge will no longer be charged.
