(1) Contact the Amazon investment manager or third-party service provider, scan the pre-registration QR code (available on my WeChat public account “跨交電電赢商會”), and register the seller’s basic information.

(2) After the investment manager reviews the seller’s basic information, he will send a notification email to the seller’s email address.

(3) The seller prepares and submits the relevant information to the investment manager for preliminary review according to the investment manager’s requirements.

(4) After the preliminary review is passed, the investment manager will send the seller a link to invite them to register.

(5) The seller registers through the invitation link and waits for the account registration to be approved. Detailed account registration steps

(1) Taking the US site as an example, open the Amazon official website and click the Sell on Amazon option at the bottom of the page.

(2) On the page that opens, click the Start selling button to start registering an account. It should be noted that below the Start selling button, there is a line of small text indicating that the monthly rental fee for Amazon platform stores is US$39.99.

(3) Open the account registration page. Enter the corresponding information in sequence. After entering, click the Next button.

It should be noted that in order to reduce unnecessary troubles during the registration process, the name of the credit card holder and the name of the company legal person should be the same as the name of the credit card holder. Enter the Chinese pinyin of the real name and remember not to spell it wrong.

(4) If you are registering with personal information, enter the pinyin of your full name in the Legal name text box; if you are registering in the name of a company, enter the company name and legal person name in the Legal name text box (the company’s global store plan can only be registered in the name of the company). Check the box to agree to the seller agreement and click the Next button.

Regarding the filling specifications of the Legal name text box, the Amazon platform provides explanations and examples. For an account registered in the name of a company, the input in the Legal name text box should be “Company Name-Legal Person Name”.

(5) Open the Seller Information page. The meanings of each option are as follows.

Display name: Store name. Enter the store name you plan to use. The store name can be consistent with the trademark of the product you operate, or it can be a name different from the trademark of the product. Take Anker (Anker Innovation, the largest and best Chinese seller on the Amazon platform) as an example. Its trademark name is Anker and its store name is AnkerDirect. After entering the store name, the system will automatically identify whether the name is available. If the system prompts that it is not available, it must be modified. The store name does not need to be the same as the registrant’s name or company name, but the seller should consider that his store name cannot infringe on the trademark rights of others. The store name can be modified at any time.

Address: Detailed address information. Enter the room number, community, street and other information in this text box, which should be consistent with the information on the address bill.

Address line 2: Address information. Enter the address of the district, county, prefecture-level city (if any) and other information in this text box, which should be consistent with the information on the address bill. City/Town: City.

State/Province/Region: Province

Postal/ZIPcode: Postal code.

Country: Country. Select China from the drop-down list. If the selected country is incorrect, the system will prompt that the postal code cannot be recognized and the next step cannot be performed.

Phone number: Phone number. Used for identity confirmation during account registration and for communication with platform customer service and customers during later operations.

After entering, click the Save & Continue button to enter the next page, and the system will make a phone/SMS confirmation. The system will send a 4-digit PIN code SMS to the mobile phone, and a page for entering the PIN code for verification will pop up.

After the SMS verification is passed, click the Next button to open the Billing/Deposit page.

(6) Billing/Deposit.

On the Billing/Deposit page, you need to enter the credit card information for debit and the deposit account information.

(7) The options in the Setup your billing method column have the following meanings.

Card Number: Credit card number. Enter the credit card number for debit. You need to use a dual-currency credit card with a VISA or MasterCard logo on the card. The credit card must be activated and the available balance must be greater than $39.99.

Valid through: Credit card expiration date.

Cardholder’s Name: Cardholder’s name.

(8) The options in the Setup your deposit method column have the following meanings.

Bank Location: The country where the payment account is located, that is, the country where the Amazon site being registered is located.

Note that it is not China.

Account Holder’s Name: Payment account holder’s name.

9-Digit Routing Number: 9-digit payment routing number. Log in to the payment tool official website and check it in the account background.

Bank Account Number: Payment account number. .

Re-type BankAccount Number: Re-enter the payment account number.

You need to enter the bank account of the local registration site for the payment account. Currently, most Chinese sellers apply for a payment account through third-party payment tools such as PingPong, WorldFirst, LianLian Pay, and NetEase Pay, and add it here to receive sales payments.

According to the latest account registration process, adding a payment account during the registration process is a required step. Sellers can apply for a payment account before registering an Amazon platform account to avoid affecting the registration process.

(9) After entering the payment information, click the Next button to open the Tax Information Interview page.

Under the current legal framework of the United States, non-US citizens are tax-free when selling goods on the Amazon platform, but they need to apply for tax exemption. In the tax exemption declaration option, sellers can directly select No (non-US citizens) and enter the Type of beneficial owner option according to the actual situation.

In the Mailing address column, select the Same as permanent address radio button and then click the Save and continue button.

Open the tax exemption declaration page, enter the name of the legal person, and then click the Submit button.

After opening the next page, click the Exit interview button to complete the tax exemption declaration.

Click the Complete Registration button to complete the account registration.
