For sellers in mainland China, Shopee Thailand mainly uses SLS for cross-border logistics, and also provides large-scale logistics services for sellers through third-party channels.
2. COD (cash on delivery) service
SLS Thailand supports DD. OD packages require buyers to complete the payment of goods and freight online when placing an order. Buyers can pay online by credit card, bank transfer, etc. COD suppliers collect payment and freight from the recipient, and buyers do not need to pay online after placing an order.

4. Special restrictions and regulations for logistics channels
1) Special restrictions and regulations for SLS logistics channels
In addition to the restrictions and prohibitions clearly stipulated by the laws and regulations of Thailand and China, the use of SLS Standard Express Thailand logistics channels also requires the following special restrictions.
① Package weight limit: package weight ≤ 20kg.
② Single side length < 100cm, sum of three sides < 180cm.
③ Inbound packages with a CIF value of more than 1,500 baht in Thailand will be subject to additional customs taxes according to the category, and the tax rate can reach more than 30%, and the tax fees shall be borne by the seller.
④ At the request of the Thai government, products that require TISI certification must provide corresponding certification certificates.
⑤ Some products are currently not available for transportation through SLS Standard Express channels.
2) Special restrictions and regulations for large-scale logistics channels
In addition to the restrictions and prohibitions clearly stipulated by the laws and regulations of Thailand and China, the Thai large-scale logistics channels also have the following restrictions and precautions.
① Single item weight limit: Single item weight ≤ 50kg
② Size requirements: Single side length of packages below 25kg ≤ 2m; Packages above 25kg: The sum of length, width and height < 2.8m, the longest side length ≤ 1me
③ Prohibited from receiving and sending: Imitation brand goods, goods involving export taxation or export licenses, such as ferrosilicon, ferromanganese, ferrosilicon manganese, lubricating oil, grease, carbon rods or graphite electrodes, medicines, food, flammable and explosive goods, hazardous chemicals (such as sodium hydroxide, some paints, etc.), licorice, precious metals (such as gold, silver, copper ingots), Freon, bamboo, wood and grass products, pesticides, mosquito coils, etc. Goods not included in this category can be confirmed by the carrier’s customer service or merchant manager. Taxes, fines and other related expenses incurred by sellers who violate the embargo list shall be borne by the sellers themselves.
④ Special goods can be sent, including cosmetics, food, etc., but a special goods handling fee of 40 baht/kg will be charged.
⑤ Sellers can apply for cargo loss insurance, with an insurance premium of 5% of the value of the goods, a minimum premium of 500 baht, and a maximum compensation of three times the freight of the goods for cargo loss.
⑥ If the storage fees, order change fees, return fees, etc. are incurred due to the recipient’s reasons, they shall be paid by the recipient. If the recipient refuses to pay, the sender shall pay instead.
⑦ Sellers should strengthen the packaging of fragile and valuable items by themselves, such as wooden boxes, wooden frames, anti-collision foam, cushion bags or air column bags, fiber bags, waterproof packaging paper, corrugated boxes, etc. If the goods are damaged due to improper packaging by the seller, the seller shall bear the responsibility.
5. About delivery
Sellers using SLS logistics services need to send the package to the SLS transshipment warehouse designated by Shopee to complete the delivery. Please check the specific delivery address and contact information on the Shopee website.
6. Large-scale logistics channel package query
Sellers can query the package status information through the Aftership website and the carrier’s NYT system (limited to querying the status information between the seller’s shipment to the destination country or region’s warehouse), and can also contact the carrier’s customer service to handle abnormal packages.
7. About the final delivery in Thailand
1) About SLS’s final delivery in Thailand
SLS Standard Express’s final delivery in Thailand; will be delivered three times for free.
If the delivery fails three times, the package will be temporarily returned to the SLS carrier, and the package can be temporarily stored in the carrier’s warehouse. If the package is unclaimed or the buyer cannot be contacted, the package will be returned by the carrier. Packages that meet the requirements will automatically enter the return process, and packages that do not meet the return requirements will be destroyed by the local warehouse.
2) About the final delivery of Thailand’s large-scale logistics channels
Delivery range: Delivery is available in all areas of Thailand.
Delivery precautions are as follows.
(1) Mae Hong Son and Mae Sariang are remote provinces, and delivery time is generally about 15 days. If delivery is required, an additional 45 baht/kg (weight 0.0150kg) will be charged on top of the charges in the fifth district, or an additional 0.75 baht/kg (weight 50.01~160kg) will be charged on top of the charges in the fifth district.
(2) For last-mile delivery in Bangkok, if the floor of the residence is equipped with an elevator or the residents are on the first floor, we can deliver to the door for free. If the floor of the residence is not equipped with an elevator or the items cannot enter the elevator, they must be carried upstairs manually, and an additional labor fee of 350 baht/person will be required. Delivery to the door is not supported in other areas.
(3) If the first delivery fails, the item will be returned to the carrier’s delivery station. If the delivery fails due to incorrect delivery information, the carrier’s customer service will contact the seller to confirm the correct delivery information and arrange a second delivery. At the same time, the seller will be charged the second delivery fee and additional fees (only charged if additional value-added services are involved). If the delivery fails due to the recipient changing the date or not being at the signing point, the second delivery will be free of charge after the carrier customer service confirms the delivery time with the buyer. If the second delivery fails, a third delivery is required. If the reason for the second delivery failure is the same as the first, whether the third delivery is charged and the charging standard are the same as the second delivery. If the three deliveries fail, the carrier customer service will notify the seller for the last time. If the seller does not confirm the information within 10 working days, it will be deemed to have abandoned the package and the package will be destroyed by the carrier.
8. Settlement of logistics costs
1) About the logistics settlement of SLS
Sellers who have opened an account on the platform will directly settle with the platform. At present, the Shopee platform will charge sellers according to the actual freight for all orders (including normal delivery, rejection, and orders for which the buyer applies for a refund or return). After the transaction is completed, the transaction amount paid by the buyer will be paid to the seller by Shopee after deducting the freight and all related fees.
2) About large-scale logistics settlement
Sellers must register and open an account with a Shopee carrier before they can use this service, and they need to settle the fees directly with the carrier (please refer to the carrier system instructions for the specific registration fee settlement method).
