1. Product code: Customized product identification.
Product codes are unique product identification codes used in the database. Each product should have a unique product code so that it can be accurately identified and managed in the system. Imagine that you are managing a women’s T-shirt with different color and size combinations. In order to distinguish different combinations, you can create a unique product code for each product.
For example, for a black T-shirt, you can create a product code like this:

Similarly, a white T-shirt can have a product code like this:
Tshirt_white_44
Tshirt_white_46
When uploading products, be sure to create a clear product code for each product. This helps track and manage in the system and avoid confusion.
2. Ozon ID: The product identifier on the Ozon platform.
Ozon ID is the product identifier inside the Ozon platform. Each product is assigned a unique Ozon ID in the Ozon system. This identifier is automatically generated when the product is uploaded to the platform.
Different types of sellers use different types of Ozon IDs. As an Ozon Global seller, you will use FBS (Fulfillment by Seller) Ozon SKU ID. This is because the products are shipped from your own warehouse. In the report, you may also encounter FBO (Fulfillment by Ozon) Ozon ID and CrossBorder Ozon SKU, which are related to sellers outside of Russia.
FBS Ozon SKU ID can be queried in a variety of ways:
Through the product information page
Through the CSV report in the “Product” column
Through the CSV report in the “Analysis” column
In the product information page, you can find the product code and Ozon ID in the upper right corner of the product name.
