On the OZON platform, inventory management of goods is crucial for both sellers and buyers. Understanding how to handle out-of-stock goods, archive, and reserve products will help improve the management efficiency of goods and the shopping experience. This article will introduce the operation of the product archive and inventory management process of the OZON platform in detail to help sellers manage product inventory reasonably and improve operational efficiency.
1. Handling out-of-stock goods.
When the seller and the OZON warehouse are out of stock, the product will not be available for purchase on the OZON platform, and the inventory quantity in the personal center product list will be displayed as “0”.
If the seller does not restock within 30 days, the product will disappear from the search results of the OZON platform.
Sellers can choose to transfer goods that cannot be restocked or are intended to be removed from the shelves to the “Product Archive”.
2. Use of the Product Archive.
Archive a product from the product summary list: Open the “Product → Product List” page, check one or several products, and make sure that the values in the OZON warehouse column and the My Warehouse column are both “0”.
Single item: Click and select “Item Archive”.
Multiple items: Click Operation → Item Archive.
The selected items will be transferred to the “Item Archive Library”.
How to restore archived items to the item summary list: If you decide to put the item back on the shelf, you can restore it from the “Item Archive Library” to the “Item Summary List”.
Open the “Item → Item List” page, switch to the “Item Archive Library” column, and check one or several items.
Click Operation → Restore Item.
The selected items will be transferred to the item summary list, and you can manage them again later.
3. Delete items and retain products.
Delete items that have not passed the review: Open the “Item → Item Archive Library” page, and check one or several items.
Click Operation → Delete Item.
The selected items will be deleted and cannot be restored again.
Reserved products: Reserved products are products that buyers have ordered and are considered reserved goods.
Reserved products will disappear from available products and move to standby status.
Reserved products cannot be moved to the archive library.
After the order is assembled, the product will disappear from the standby status and will no longer be displayed in the warehouse.
By properly using the product archive library function of the OZON platform, sellers can better manage product inventory and improve operational efficiency while ensuring that buyers have a good shopping experience. For products that cannot be replenished, timely archiving and restoration to the product list is also an important part of promoting the operational process. This series of operating specifications reflects OZON’s care for the interests of both sellers and buyers, creating a more orderly and efficient e-commerce platform.
