However, the main problem with inventory restrictions is not the quantity, but the category restrictions, especially the clothing category. Take shoes as an example. If the quantity is limited to 1,000 pieces, even if there are two styles and six sizes of inventory, that is, 12 SKUs, each piece can only be stocked about 80 pieces. It is not enough for sellers to stock only 80 pieces.
The platform’s restrictions on quantity will be gradually adjusted and improved according to the sales of the store, but for new stores, early out-of-stock is a common and normal result. It is also possible to sell goods while replenishing them, but the related costs will also increase. The platform will not disclose the quota increase information to the seller in advance, which may take a week, a month, or even several months. Therefore, for novice sellers, it is recommended to clearly investigate the quantity limit and related inventory standards, logistics conditions, and overseas warehouses to cooperate with FBA. This is the only way to solve the quantity limit problem at present, but the seller also needs to consider the cost comprehensively.
At the same time, it is relatively dangerous for sellers to operate multiple SKUs at the same time. It is recommended to open a reasonable payment and centralize the stocking mode. Recently, there have been some new regulations on the replenishment quantity limit. According to the platform, the FBA warehouse can store sales for about 3 months. At present, the shipment limit is directly related to the sales volume of the store products. The more orders are sold, the more shipments can be obtained. If a novice seller fails to comply with the platform’s inventory requirements, safety requirements and related product restrictions for quantity limits, the platform may conduct a comprehensive score, and the relevant logistics center and other FBA processes will be rejected.
