Selling products on the SOUQ platform is the first choice for many sellers, but problems such as slow product review and high rejection rate have always been a headache. In order to help sellers save time and effort, we share a method of bulk uploading. You can upload products in batches by filling out the form. After personal testing, the effect is remarkable.

Recently, the sales volume of the SOUQ platform has continued to rise, attracting many sellers with mature product systems to settle in. However, some new customers have reflected a common problem, that is, SOUQ’s product review is slow and the rejection rate is high, which makes uploading products very time-consuming and labor-intensive. Next, we will share a batch upload method that has been tested and effective for your reference.

Step 1: Download the form.

First, after logging into the SOUQ backend, go to Inventory and select Item Listing. Next, select and download the form of the corresponding category according to the product type.

Step 2: Fill in the form.

Open the downloaded form and note that the red part is required. Fill in or select the corresponding options according to the product information. This information is usually the same as the information you need to fill in when creating a product separately.

Tip: Use English to fill in the Arabic title and description.

If you don’t know Arabic, don’t worry. You can fill in the title and description directly in English and then copy them to the corresponding location. Of course, if you know Arabic, you can also fill it in, which will make the seller’s product more attractive.

Set the processing time.

In the Handling time column, a, b, and c correspond to 1 day, 2 days, and 3 days respectively. Usually, we choose a 3-day processing time.

Key 1: Image external links.

In the Images column, you need to provide links to five product images. You will find that this method allows you to upload more images than you can add when creating products individually. If you need to add more images, try it, but make sure the image external links are formatted correctly.

Key 2: Add images and videos to the description.

Sellers can use an HTML editor such as html-cleaner.com to format the description neatly and add images and videos to it. Then, copy the organized code into the Description column of the form.

Step 3: Upload the form.

After filling out the form, you can upload it to the SOUQ platform. If the upload fails, you can try to change the file format and upload it using the "Microsoft Office 2007 Excel" form.

Step 4: Wait for review.

After the upload is successful, you can view the upload progress in the inventory management in the background. When the Status column changes from pending to imported, it means that the upload is complete. You can view the number of successful uploads in the Results column and download the error report. Next, the product will appear in pending and just need to wait for the review of the SOUQ platform.

Through this batch upload method, sellers can greatly simplify the process of uploading products, eliminate tedious manual operations, and improve efficiency. I hope this method will be helpful to sellers operating on the SOUQ platform!
