This article will answer the questions that new sellers often encounter when they join the Meikeduo platform. From fees, sales commissions, sales language to payment methods, it provides accurate answers and guidance for new sellers.

Entry fee issue: Meikeduo platform does not charge monthly store rent, and sellers can list products for free. Only when the seller sells the product, the platform will charge a certain percentage of sales commission. Please do not believe the statement that “Meikeduo charges for opening a store” and the charging behavior of third parties.

Sales commission issue: Meikeduo will charge different percentages of sales commissions for different sites according to the category of the product. The specific commission ratio can be checked on the relevant page of the Meikeduo platform.

Sales language issue: Sellers can upload product information in English on the Meikeduo platform, and the system will automatically translate it into the local language and display it on the front desk. However, in order to better communicate with local consumers, it is recommended to use professionals in the corresponding language for translation to ensure accurate communication of product information.

Payment method issue: Meikeduo supports various payment methods commonly used in the cross-border e-commerce industry. You only need to bind a USD bank account or a payment platform’s payment account in the background.

Repayment cycle issue: After the buyer confirms the order, the seller’s payment will be displayed in the seller’s background within one week. When the seller’s account net balance reaches 500 USD, it will be automatically settled.

Differences between brand stores and regular stores: Both brand stores and regular stores enjoy new product support policies. Brand stores have exclusive store decorations, providing more display and exposure opportunities, and can also use brand protection tools.

Currency unit issue: The currency unit displayed on the front desk of Meikeduo is the local official currency of each site. For example, in the Mexican site, it will be displayed in Mexican pesos. When listing products, the selling price filled in is USD, and the system will automatically convert it to the local currency based on the real-time exchange rate and display it on the front desk.

Overseas warehouse service issue: In Meikeduo’s CBT cross-border project, overseas warehouse services (FBM) for Mexican and Chilean sites are currently open to Chinese sellers. At the same time, Meikeduo’s four major sites all support the self-delivery model, and sellers can choose according to their own business model.

By answering these common questions, we hope to provide new sellers with clear guidance and solutions, so that they can enter the Meikeduo platform more smoothly.
