Facebook public homepages not only allow customers to intuitively understand company information, but also allow you to open pages and stores to display product information and conduct marketing activities, effectively conveying product information to users in the most intuitive way. The store section is a tab that can be added to the Facebook homepage. With the store section, you can sell goods to the public directly through the homepage. This feature is very suitable for wholesalers, retailers and e-commerce advertisers to market to customers on Facebook, and it can be used for free.
1. Facebook Shop Store Registration
Facebook store registration is divided into US stores and non-US stores. When setting the checkout currency, please note that once the currency is selected, it cannot be changed. If you want to change the currency, you can only delete the store and rebuild it.
(1) Enter the store creation entrance.
First, enter the created corporate public homepage and click “Store” in the left column to enter the store settings page. Then click “Continue” to enter the next step of setting.
(2) Select the checkout method.
Here you need to select a payment method for your customers, allowing them to place orders directly on Facebook or jump to the merchant’s website to place orders.
If you choose to check out on other websites, customers will be redirected from the product details page on Facebook to the website set up by the merchant for checkout. Facebook does not charge a handling fee. If you choose to check out via Facebook, customers can browse the store and place orders within the Facebook app. Facebook will charge the merchant a 5% handling fee for each transaction. If you choose to check out via message, customers will be redirected to Messenger, Instagram Direct or WhatsApp for payment. Facebook does not charge any additional fees.
(3) Provide merchant details.
Whether you choose any of the checkout methods in step (2), you will enter the page for providing merchant details. The system will ask you to enter the merchant name and email address.
