There are two types of emails related to order status, namely order cancellation and order modification, which are also only generated in self-delivery orders. Within 30 minutes after placing an order, the buyer can actively cancel the order; once more than 30 minutes, you need to contact the seller to cancel.

If the product has not been delivered yet, you can cancel it directly. Since Amazon will evaluate the pre-delivery cancellation rate (Cancellation Rate) in delivery performance, that is, the proportion of orders canceled by sellers within 7 days must be less than 2.5%, so when the store has a small number of orders, you can suggest to the buyer to resend the email through Order Cancellation Request for cancellation. After receiving this email, you can directly click Cancel in the backend order and select “Buyer Cancellation” as the reason to avoid affecting the store’s performance. For delivered orders, you can only request the buyer to return the goods after receiving them.

Here is the customer service template for canceling an order when the item is not actually shipped:

youyou’re your purchase anyway.
