The business architecture of cross-border e-commerce payment and settlement, combined with the technical architecture of cross-border e-commerce payment and settlement, mainly includes the following five modules.
(1) Merchant module. The merchant module includes virtual accounts, management platform, multi-currency cashier, and dispute management.
(2) Fund channel module. The fund channel module is connected to domestic card issuing banks, overseas card issuing banks, international card organizations, domestic exchange rate banks, international exchange rate banks, domestic acquiring banks, overseas acquiring banks and exchange rate service agencies.
(3) Business module. The business module is actually a business solution, including multi-currency account custody, prepaid cards, fund collection and payment, international remittances, etc.
(4) Financial module. The financial module is cross-border finance built on basic payment and basic services, including value-added services such as foreign exchange balance management and overseas consumer credit.
(5) Cross-border core clearing and settlement module. The cross-border core clearing and settlement system is the core module and the basis for supporting clearing and settlement of multiple currencies, multiple issuing banks, and multiple card types. It is the brain of cross-border payment service output.
