In the early stage of product release, you need to prepare keywords, product names, product pictures (upload picture banks), as well as product parameter tables and corresponding descriptive text.
After all the information is prepared, the product release stage will begin. The specific steps are as follows.
Step 1: Log in to www.alibaba.com, click the Sign In or My Alibaba button in the upper left corner to enter the login page, enter the login name and password to enter the backend.
Step 2: Enter the backend, product management appears in the blue navigation bar on the left, click the Release Product option in Product Management, and enter the product release page and product category page.
Step 3: First, you must select the correct category.
Step 4: After selecting the correct category, enter the product release information filling page. Basic information includes product name, keywords and product pictures.
Step 5: After filling in the corresponding information column, start entering product attributes. The product attributes that need to be filled in are [Custom Attributes] and [Transaction Information]. A maximum of 10 items can be filled in [Custom Attributes], so all 10 items must be filled in (the upper right corner shows the completeness of the product information). You can fill in the product model, process, scope of use and occasion, characteristics, size (length, width and height). Net weight, gross weight, product name, etc.
Each item in [Transaction Information] must be filled in. In the [Add] after [Minimum Order Quantity], you can fill in “for + core keywords” in the box, and fill in [Supply Capacity] in the same way. For the price of [FOB], just fill in the range value, and [Regular Packaging] must be written.
You can also choose [Set Price According to Quantity], that is, the price setting for online wholesale.
To set different prices according to different sales quantities, you can set [Add Price Range].
Step 6: The editing of the product details page needs to be based on the design template of the details page, and the pictures, texts and tables are placed in turn.
First click the [Select Picture from Picture Bank] button to select the application scenario picture from the picture bank.
Then add a small language button image below the application scenario diagram, edit the position between the images, and pursue visual beauty (you can click the [Save] button below, then [Preview] the effect, and adjust it again according to the effect).
After the scenario diagram is the description of the product detail image, where the navigation bar should be inserted. Click the [Add Custom Navigation] button in the upper right corner of the detail page editor.
Enter the name of the navigation bar, such as “Detail”, click the [Use and Save Template Now] button, jump to the detail page editing page, and a light gray line will appear.
Put the product detail image after the navigation bar, click the [Add Image] button, find the detail image of the corresponding product in the image bank and add it. After completion, import the text and product parameters. The text and product parameters were prepared before the product was released, and were sorted in Word and Excel respectively, so in this step, you only need to copy and paste the text or table directly. In order to ensure aesthetics, multiple adjustments are required. The table should be centered, the font size should be unified, and the capitalization should be consistent. The content of the text needs to control the line spacing to avoid affecting the aesthetics due to being too compact.
After the table, you can put your own main categories or main products (prepared by the designer in advance), or cooperative customers, which can be added according to their needs.
After the product details are displayed, the product certificate or the company certificate is followed. Here you need to add a navigation bar “Certifications” and add a picture of the certificate after the navigation bar.
After introducing the product, you can selectively display the company’s information, such as the product’s production flow chart, the company’s basic introduction, logistics information, and FAQ, etc. This information plus the navigation bar can help customers jump directly to the corresponding module when browsing.
You can add links to the pictures on the details page. Click the picture with the mouse. When the picture appears in a blue shadow, click the [Insert Link] button and insert the URL you want to link to in the box. Please note that you can add up to 15 pictures and 50,000 codes on the details page.
Step 7: Click the white box of the product group, put the product into the corresponding product group, and finally check whether all the information is correct and whether the completeness is 100%, then click the [Submit] button and wait for the review to pass, then the product will be successfully released and officially launched.
